I filled out a job application for Subway and when I went in yesterday to give the manager my application, the woman who works there said that she just left. So she took my job application and said she would give it to the manager.
I didn't realize until I got home that I probably should have just came in the next day to give the manager my job application in person.
Is it bad that I did this?
Will the manager not accept my application because it wasn't handed directly over to her?Is it bad that I gave her my job application?
Its not bad that you did that because most likely what happened is that associate left it right on the managers work space. So now the manager will come in and see it right on their desk. If you are a little weary call in about 3-5 days and inquire about the status of your application. Is it bad that I gave her my job application?
Maybe. I would've handed to the manager in person just in case if this employee doesn't like newbies so they crumbled it up and throw away in trash. I handed application to employees before while managers are away and they look uninterested and said in plain tone "uhh... I'll hand it to manager...". They can't be trusted!
Next time try to hand your papers to managers because it can make you to look interested and they will know what you look like than guessing and judging your handwriting and answers on the application. Is it bad that I gave her my job application?
Shes going to think you can't handle using a big person knife to cut an italian herb and cheese roll in half and be able to put the meat in because you cant give the application to the right person. Is it bad that I gave her my job application?
No, you can hand your application over to any employee, as long as they give it to the manager she will still accept it and review it.
