No subway is a franchise for godsakes, teenage idiots and old people work there. You put stuff on a sub bun, its not rocket science.
A friggin 8 year old could put a couple of veggies and meat on a bun, and type in the amount it is and the amount he gave you.Do i need to be smart in order to work at subway?
don't discount your abilities. You will do just fine if you set your mind to it.
good luck
I was an honor student and i was intimidated with their applications. I never applied. stupid i know but yeah.Do i need to be smart in order to work at subway?
It truly depends what position you have. If you're not good with numbers, then just be the person who makes the sandwiches. Subway is not necessarily a place that you need to have an amazing resume for. If you just want a job, go for it.
Just don't be a cashier; that may not be the best choice for you.
Good luck! :)
if you know wat all the things for teh sandwich are called adn are familiar with teh manue than youll be fineDo i need to be smart in order to work at subway?
You don't have to have a Phd to make a sandwich. Go for it. I'm sure you'll get the job.
I have worked at subway before. And although I have an extremely high iq, it is not a necessity to working there. And do not listen to the other posts about just be the one making sandwiches, cause this is not designated to one person. It is everyone's responsibility to do each job. While you may be able to get away with not handling the cash register for a long time, sooner or later you will need to. If you know or learn how to count cash back, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about... the cash register does the rest, they have signs on how to make each of the sandwiches... it's really simple
no u don;t have to be smart
you can be as dumb as a coal bucket because everyone that waited on me was.
in this day and age most stores register walk you through every step. You tell the customer how much, he gives you his cash, you type that amount in and it tells you how much to give back. easy.
No. smart enough to do the job, yes. it's a fast food restaurant.
I can't imagine that you'd have a problem. I've known people who worked at Subway who were dumb as posts.
If you really have that little confidence in your education and ability, I'd be more concerned that you'll be working at Subway (or someplace like it) for the rest of your life. Least you're getting early practice? =/
lol u r smart, you was able to type a question and u want to gain independence and get a job. = smart and independent
no you dont have to be smart, because u will be using this giant calculator called a a a ,aha a cash register lol, but i would suggest brushing up on some math skills even if you have to start with elementary math , at least u know ur weakness and u r willing to fix it.
best of luck
no, anyone can do it your just making sandwiches. Unless you are a cashier don't worry about numbers.
Why isn't homeschooling more regulated? Ah, homeschooling at its finest.
I applied at Subway when I was 16 (of course this was 9 years ago) and they did ask a couple of math questions that you can't use a calculator for. The questions were about how to make change in case of a power outage and the cash register wasn't working. If you can't work out the problems, then you might want to consider some REAL schooling. I'm not saying all homeschooling is bad, but I think it should hold the same standards as the public school system. I mean, you can't get homeschooled and get a bachelor's degree! That should tell you something, unless you're a state certified teacher you shouldn't be teaching. But I digress.
