What do i say when i go to a store with a completed written application?

Im trying to apply at Gamestop as well as Subway and i pretty much need to know what to say when i walk into the store and what to say exactly. im sorry if this question sounds dumb i really dont know how to handle the whole written application thing.What do i say when i go to a store with a completed written application?
Dress nicely, ask if the manager is available, and when you give him/her the application, say, "I'm really looking forward to working here." He/she will probably look over the application and you can also ask, "Is there anything else you need from me?" He/she will respond and you can ask when you'll hear of the decision. Be sure to thank him/her. You may not hear anything if someone else is hired, as there may be many applicants. But you can return in the the future to tell him/her you are still interested (sometimes new hires don't make it.)
