Subway application turned in...manager says call next day..now what?

so i called the manager..she said she is going to talk to the owner..and that i should call back the next day..what is happening now?..is the owner going to get a background check or somthing? and what might happen next?...Subway application turned in...manager says call next day..now what?
No background check for most Subway's. The owner is hesitant about hiring someone during the economic downturn. They may have to train you but only give you 15 hours per week. Then they are worried that you will quit.

If you can stand to work very few hours, tell them when you call..Subway application turned in...manager says call next day..now what?
They're probably checking references and discussing whether or not they want to hire you based on your work history, skills, etc. I doubt they're doing an in depth background check- it's Subway, not the FBI.

Call when she told you to call, otherwise they'll think you're not interested in the position. Good luck!Subway application turned in...manager says call next day..now what?
Call when they asked you to and continue with the process.

While you are waiting, keep applying everywhere.

There are so few jobs out there you need to give yourself as many options as possible!

Good Luck!!
