What should I say when I hand an application to the manager of Subway?

Do I just ask for the manger and go "Oh here you go".

What should I say to make myself memorable in a good way?

Should I ask if there are any positions available before handing the application? What should I say when I hand an application to the manager of Subway?
Say 'Here!'

Just kidding. But seriously, you'll have a better chance of getting a job at a fast food place if you hand in your application between 2 and 4pm-that is when most mangagers come in to switch shifts. Chances are that they will have some extra managers available to interview you right then and there, which increases your chances a LOT of getting hired. Managers are sometimes too lazy to call people, schedule an appointment, etc. for you to come back in later. What should I say when I hand an application to the manager of Subway?
Introduce your self list two or three of your best qualifications and then ask when you can set up an interview. I get hired at places I'm not even qualified to work with this strategy. there no fast food places though.

Keep constant eye contact even when your shaking his/her hand. What should I say when I hand an application to the manager of Subway?
