Job references????????????

I plan on applying for my first job at subway and on the application, I listed my two best friends as my references. Is that okay? Do they actually call the references?Job references????????????
Just give your friends a heads up that you used them. It really depends on the employer sometimes they call and sometimes they don't. Defiantly tell your friends that you used them though so if the do call them they act professional and know it's not a joke. In the future I would use an older relative or if your close to a teacher or coach ask them if you can use them as a reference.Job references????????????

they rarely call references since no one is going list anyone that will give them a bad reference. they will call previous employers.



it's always a good idea to list a clergy person or a doctor. both are prestigious references.

Its depend, but normally if the interviewer feel not confidence on you, they will call them. next time, if you want to attach your friend contact, get the person who really know your capabilities and someone who has jobs experiences and know you well.
