Absolutely. Even if they say they're not hiring, ask if you can submit an application in case an opening comes up.Should you still ask for an application if a place doesn't have hiring signs?
Sure, go for it. What's the worst that could happen? You could get turned down, sure, but you lose nothing by applying.Should you still ask for an application if a place doesn't have hiring signs?

Oh of course.. thats how I got my first job at Mcdonolds.. it's always worth the try, cuz they may not just out right say they are hiring, so I would apply at em all if I were you.. cuz I am sure your young cuz working at fast foods normally in the norm for people in HS, so yeah go for it, and see who calls, lol.. thats the great thing about putting out multiple apps.. as far as getting em, just go up to the counter and ask..
Most places do not post that they are hiring. Go in and ask for an application. You can just ask at the counter if you want.

Or, if you want to maybe stand out a little more, ask to speak to the manager. When he/she come out to see you, explain that you would like to work there, and why you are the best person person for the job. Talk about the jobs they have. Show interest in working there. Be confident, and make a good first impression. Give him/her a reason to remember your name. Then, just before you are done talking to him/her, ask for an application.
