Do you need a resume if you are going to work 1st time every at like a subway?

I have never had a job before, and do not understand how to get one. All my friends just tell me to fill out an application and get into an interview and you are good. When I look online they talk about resumes, and w40's and all this stuff that to me is confusing.Do you need a resume if you are going to work 1st time every at like a subway?
Travis, employers don't require or expect a resume from teens looking for a part time job, if it's their first job or not. When you decide where you'd like to work just go in and ask for an application. Take it home and fill it out. Return it at a time the business isn't very busy. Look presentable when you return it in case the manager wants to talk to you. He may want to, but he may not be there or may be busy so don't be upset if he doesn't. If he needs to hire someone he'll call you to come in for an interview. That may take a few days. When you go to the interview dress neatly, but don't dress up. Have clean hair, nails, no shorts or or sagging pants or cap on backwards. Don't chew gum. Turn off your cell phone. When you meet the manager shake his hand. Look at him when you speak. When you get ready to leave them him for his time and shake his hand again. Good luck.Do you need a resume if you are going to work 1st time every at like a subway?
If you are looking for your first job, and it's a simple job like at subway or similar, then just fill out an application and forget about resumes and such.

Resumes are really only needed when you're applying for a job that requires special skills or educational background, or when you're just sending out a resume to different places, not even knowing whether they have jobs to offer you.
A resume is required for career type of position, not fast food. The application should suffice. Good LuckDo you need a resume if you are going to work 1st time every at like a subway?
you will need it!
Just skip the resumes. You never had a job, so you can't really list your "skills"
