First off, when you turn in your application you need to ask the General Manager what age you have to be to work there. I'm guessing it's 16 anyway because that is the rule in most states. When you go to turn in an application go at a time when they are not busy probably between 2 and 5 would be best. Don't go or call after 5 as the General Manager will probably get off at five most days and they are the ones you want to talk to. Ask to speak to the General Manager or hiring manager. It's not always the GM that does the hiring, sometimes they have a designated assistant for that. If they are not there than just say thank you and leave you're application with the manager that is there and ask them when would be a good time to call and speak to the General Manager would be. When you call be sure to say thank you even if they tell you they have no openings. If you really want the job that bad go back and put a new application in every two weeks or so. They are good for 90 days but I guarantee you they are not going to look at them after two weeks. Eventually they will just get tired to seeing your name in their pile and hire you. It shouldn't take long though. It's relatively easy to get a job at one of these places. But you also have to take into account the economy. People are holding onto jobs a lot longer now. Anyway, good luck, hope all works out for you.How do I get a job for McDonald's, Dairy Queen or Subway?
Most places only keep your application on file for about three months. Go back to the stores, ask to talk to a store manager before getting your application, and ask how long they keep the applications. Then, keep applying every time your application will disappear from their files. That way, when they are hiring, your application will be ready for them to go over. Also, if you did get to talk to the store manager before applying, maybe they'll remember you. That's a bonus. How do I get a job for McDonald's, Dairy Queen or Subway?
Stores tend to hire walk ins when they need them. Try some other places too don't limit yourself to 3 places.
