How long should I wait until I call back?

So I applied to a job at Subway yesterday, it was through the online application. How long should I wait until I call them asking them if they viewed my application? My friend said about 2 days, is this correct?I don't want to call them too soon. Being that I applied yesterday around 12 pm.How long should I wait until I call back?

It would be good to give it a week's allowance of waiting for a call back on whether you're chosen for an interview. You would feel better if they called you earlier that way. They may need time to evaluate your application or choose from a list of applicants who are best suited for the job. If you want to follow up whether they received your application, it would be better to call right after you send it. If you wait for 3 days you run the risk of being told that you were not chosen for an interview or you know the classic line, "we'll just call you back".In addition, I always suggest to unemployed people to try online jobs.
