I'm 15 and i want to work at subway?

can you work at subway if you are 15 and have a work permit? on the application it says :

are you 16 years or over(proof of age or work permit may be required?) YES [] NO[]

so does work permit let me work at 15?I'm 15 and i want to work at subway?
A work permit is only given if you had no other means to support yourself or your family. Meaning, it was just you and your mom and she needed your income to pay the bills. Or, that you are emancipated (on your own at 15, and parental custody is taken away from both your parents), so you would need the job to stay alive. So, yes, a work permit lets you work at 15, but you have to apply for one and chances are they won't grant it.

Because of OSHA standards, anyone under the age of 16 has strict work limits (not past 8 on school nights, no more than 15 hour a week, something to that effect) so because you would be so limited to schedule, most companies do not bother to hire 15 year olds.

I had a job at 15 at a little corner goodie shop... We sold ice cream, and the RO bottled water taps and bagged ice. You can get a job somewhere that is family owned, rather than Subway which is a ffranchised company and has to follow company rules. Family owned means they get to set their own rules, and possibly hire a 15 year old.

I know it sucks, but Good luck! I'm 15 and i want to work at subway?
No. Subway can set their own employment conditions.
what a go getter!I'm 15 and i want to work at subway?
no
nahI'm 15 and i want to work at subway?
Ask the manager, it might be different for each franchise.
Totally depends where you live. In Australia you can work at ANY age but the hours and time of night are regulated. Most fast food and shops start employing at 14 years old, but you have to have your parents permission. Rates of pay depend on your age, going up each year until you are 18.

You have to stay in school until at least 17, unless you are training or studying elsewhere. There is no government benefit unless you have finished senior school.
