How many of you knew Subway has several items with trans fats? Would you eat there less.....?

.... or at very least, change your menu selections to the more healthier choices?

Can't say I'm surprised, tho I am a bit disappointed. Of course all of my favorite sandwiches are the ones with trans fats (meatball marinara, tuna, and steak). There are some choices which I would still go for listed as 0 trans fats, like the Subway Club, but with the FDA's policy on allowing groups to label %26lt; 0.5g of trans fat as 0.0g, I'm still a bit concerned.

Granted all that saturated fat isn't exactly a small matter either, and I do eat either Krispy Kreme donuts or other store bought donuts about at least x2 a month which are notorious to contain trans fat, but deep down, I figured Subway could've made due without 'em. While sat fat intake is recommended to be on the very low end, train of thought on trans fats intake is either NONE whatsever to only trace amounts every week. How many of you knew Subway has several items with trans fats? What I am concerned with @ Subway is the processed meats that are used. There's new research that shows a link between processed meats %26amp; cancer. Don't go overboard with these! And by the way, Jared didn't get skinny eating the fully loaded Italian BMT loaded with cheese and Ranch to boot. ;-)
