I am presently working at a location, but wish to fill in vacant hours/days at Subway or somewhere similar. When applying at Subway, should I list my Current Employer under my Work History? Or would that just get awkward (I don't want Subway to contact her and her to think that I'm replacing the job she gave me). In order for me to send the application, I have to agree that I have not omitted any information or given false information. Do you think that a PRESENT Employer should be placed under Work HISTORY? In part you have answered your own question.
You have to tell the truth. You have to declare your current job, you cannot call it Job history, otherwise your CV will not make any Sense.
Even if you classed you current job as job history, your potential employer may still write to them for a reference. That would be kind of confusing for your present employer.
So just tell the truth, that you want to fill in the vacant hours.
Its no big deal. you will not be the 1st person in the world to want to do this. And just tell them the truth regarding contacting your existing employer, they will understand.
