Should I work part time or full time at Subway?

It's my first job, and at first I wanted to work part time, like on the weekends, but then I thought about seeing friends, social life etc. and it made me think about getting a FULL TIME position.



The problem is that when I submitted my application, I put down Part Time. I want to work Full Time at Subway, like on weekdays, but my mom and dad don't want me too. But I want to get out in the workplace and earn money.



So basically, here are my questions



1.Should I work full or part time?

2.How to convince my parents for me to work Full Time?

3. Is it possible to explain to the manager or whoever that I want to work Full time instead of Part time?

Well honestly I worked at subway for a year and a half. My manager told me that noone at subway is really "FULLTIME" but i got like 35-40 hours a week. How old are you? You might want to go parttime because when I had to close the store I was tired sometimes It was alot to clean up because the person who left before really didnt do anything. It is hectic especially when it "5 dollar footlong month" sometimes you will have lines out the door for hours with no break. Sometimes it was me by myself and one other person. and with you working at subway its not like mcdonalds where you can work in the back and stuff and you press buttons boom the orders done. You have to sit there with the customer on the phone constantly asking them lettuce tomatoes while their getting an attitude. And sometimes youll have someone on the phone and their trying to order 6 sandwiches.Be thankful if you have a subway that has "no phone signs". You cant just got off to the back and blow off steam. I mean its a nice job to open you up etc because i was shy before i started working there. It can make you tired. Days I had to close my friends wanted me to go out and id be soo tired.. And yes you can just let your manager know you want more hours like I did myself. Convining parents umm just tell them that you can make your own money to do what you want and buy what you need without asking. Show them that you can work and keep up your grades by showing them your grades every couple of months. But honestly id say go parttime especially if your in school because with subway and being fulltime i was tired and never wanted to study!Should I work part time or full time at Subway?
if you're still in highschool, I would say part time. if college, part time or full time. if you're not doing anything, full time. in the end, your parents can't decide for you if you sign up for full time you'll be reequired to show up. if your parents are transportation I would say paart time bc if you want full time %26amp; they don't want to take you then you will be fired for not showing up or beung late. but you could always take the bus.Should I work part time or full time at Subway?
i would work full time but if the part time job is the only job going at the moment then go for it coz there aint a lot of jobs out there at the moment
