Job application-few questions@@ PLZ READ??!@@@?

i'm eighteen years old and i decided im going to take one semester off from school and work full time, n try to make a little money. i never ever worked before and have a few questions.

1) how many hours if considered full time in california?

2) on my job application, theres a area that says "monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday etc" and has boxes.. what do i put inside the boxes? do i put like "9am-4pm" or just put how many hours i want to work on that day like 7?

3) theres a section that ask me what my previous jobs are, and ask for the company name, address etc, but i never worked before what should i put there?

4) im applying 2 subway, and i dont have any close friends for references, if i put my family members will they know? does a place like subway check/care?

5) my writing is kinda ugly, will thie effect me in getting hired when they look at my app you think?

6) how can i increase my chance to get hired? any tips?Job application-few questions@@ PLZ READ??!@@@?
1.Usually your employer decides what they consider full time, not your state. I've worked at places that considered around 30 hours full time.

2. In the boxes write the times you are available to work. If you are available from 8-7 for example.

3. Just leave the employment section blank.

4. Does the application say no family members as references? If not put them down, but if it asks for people that aren't related you can list friends, teachers, family friends.

5. Your writing doesn't have to be perfect, or even pretty. Just make sure it is legible and in ink.

6. Be confident and friendly. They are going to want to hire someone that is good with the costumers. Also ask questions about what the job duties are. It really helps to show you are interested. Good luck!Job application-few questions@@ PLZ READ??!@@@?
I am eighteen years old working full time in California as well.

1. I work 40 hrs per week. I assume anything over like 30 hours would be full time

2.You would put the hours you are available. GENERALLY. So if you have a pool party on saturday dont write that you cannot work Saturdays. Put down generally what hours you can work those days.

3. You would leave it blank. Or if you have done community service put that there.

4. It depends on the Subway. Some care some don't some check some don't

5. Write as clearly and neatly on your application. Once youre hired they wont care about your writing so make it look goo on that application and you dont want them messing up your social security number or anything like happened to me :/ makes taxes harder....

6. Be polite, be on time, ask them questions too. Take interest. Dress nice. I dont care where youre applying put on a nice outfit. It makes a serious impression. Wear your hair up. This is important in food jobs..... Thank them for their time.Job application-few questions@@ PLZ READ??!@@@?
I Do Not Currently Live In California, However The Same Basic Rules Apply In Every State For Persons 18 Years Or Older.

1.how many hours if considered full time in california?: 40 Hours Per Week

2. on my job application, theres a area that says "monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday etc" and has boxes.. what do i put inside the boxes? do i put like "9am-4pm" or just put how many hours i want to work on that day like 7?: Put A Check Mark In The Boxes For The Days You Are Willing To Work.

3. theres a section that ask me what my previous jobs are, and ask for the company name, address etc, but i never worked before what should i put there?: Put N/A In These Places, However If You Have Ever Babysat, Mowed Yards, Or Anything Where You Can Have A Persons Name As A Personal Reference Would Be Preferred.

4. im applying 2 subway, and i dont have any close friends for references, if i put my family members will they know? does a place like subway check/care? If The Application Says "No Family Members" Then Do Not Put Family Members... You Can Put Anybody Down That Knows Your Work Ethic (Just Make Sure You Tell Them That You Have Put Them Down As A Job Reference)... With The Economy The Way It Currently Is, Everybody Is Looking For Work So I Would Not Be Surprised If They Did Check Your References.

5.my writing is kinda ugly, will thie effect me in getting hired when they look at my app you think?: Do Your Absolute Best On It, Take Your Time, Write Slow, Think About What Your Fixing To Write Before Starting.... If You Can Take The Application Home With You And Fill It Out Then Do So.

6. how can i increase my chance to get hired? any tips?: Be Very Courteous, Respectful, Punctual, Dress Appropriately. Be Sure To Use Phrases Like "Yes Ma'am", "No Sir", "Thank You". Refrain From Swearing, Refrain From Using Slang.

Good Luck.Job application-few questions@@ PLZ READ??!@@@?
1. 40

2. enter hours available. Best answer is "any"

3. put N/A

4. Leave references blank

5. take your time and print nicely, then learn to write nicely. this will help you through your whole life.

6. arrive 5 minutes early, and apologize for being early, like, "Sorry I'm a little early, I hate being late." dress nice, no tie. be polite. DO NOT SWEAR. don't ask about pay until they offer the job. make it a side note. the pay isn't negotiable any way, so it's not worth looking greedy. be honest about your experience. smile. have fun!
1. There's no specific number of hours that's full time. Many places, full time is 40 hours. That doesn't mean you'll get that many hours.

2. If the boxes are small, just put a check mark in each. If they're large, put "ANY" for hours.

3. Leave it blank.

4. You don't use friends for references. Use teachers, pastor, scout leader, something like that. And ask them first if you can use them for a reference.

5. If your writing isn't good, print. Be sure to fill it out neatly, no cross-outs.

Good luck.
