Do i have a right to be angry about this? and is it considered Descrimination?

I recently applied for a job at Subway and when i went to check on my application they told me that since im pregnant they wouldnt hire me because i would take a medical leave in 2 1/2 months. they said by the time that im trained i will have the baby.Do i have a right to be angry about this? and is it considered Descrimination?
That's a reasonable concern.

In this job market.....there are a lot of people competing for jobs. A friend of mine recently applied for a part time job at a pharmacy and was one of 200 applications that were submitted.

So...if you were hiring...and you got 100 job applications...would you hire the pregnant lady who is going to get the job...take 2 months to train....and about the time she's done training....go out on 12 weeks maternity leave? Probably not....you'd hire someone that you can train and have in that position from the day of hire.

You will probably have much better luck getting a job once the baby is born and you are ready to come back to work.

Good luck and congrats on your new addition.Do i have a right to be angry about this? and is it considered Descrimination?
No, it's perfectly legit.Do i have a right to be angry about this? and is it considered Descrimination?
No discrimination there I wouldn't hire anybody that needed off in a few months it is a waste of time and moneyDo i have a right to be angry about this? and is it considered Descrimination?
The question you must ask yourself is if the roles where reversed, would you hire you? Be real honest. It might not be right however you have to use some common sense.
