When you drop off your resume and / or application, you should wait 2 - 3 days then do a follow up in person. The longer you wait, the less likely you will get a call. The more that manager sees your face and can put a name to it, the better your chances of getting a job. Also when doing your follow up, don't go during a busy time of the day for ex. lunch time!
Make sure when doing your follow up and for that matter when you initially drop off your resume, be well groomed, clean, nice clothes (no jeans with holes), hair combed, you know the drill.... well where i used to work(a pizza place) we usually waited any time from a day to a couple of weeks...if they dont call back you can call them sometimes they just get busy and dont actually look at them until someone calls.How long should I wait for fast food employers to call back?
