When should I check on my job applications?

I turned in four job applications yesterday to Subway, McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. For the Subway one they want me to come in and check on it. But how long should I wait to check on them?When should I check on my job applications?
I don't think they meant check to see if they got your application.

If you go in every few days %26amp; say something like, "I turned in my application a few days ago %26amp; I was wondering if you still had an opening/filled the position yet."

If you knew they had an opening, go in almost daily. That will show you are willing to come into work daily.

If you turned them in bc you are looking for a job, ask them if they have an opening.When should I check on my job applications?
why would they want you to come check on it?im sure they got it i mean seems pretty stupid to me

. why cant they just call you and say *we got your application* i would check yea maybe 2morow just say though. * i filled out an application and you guys told me to come in and check on it so yea i was wondering if you got it?* then they say w.e. and might interview you right then.
